Floating Beauty
By: William Preising
Floating in the air,
So care free. Nothing to worry.
Nothing to care. Glistening in the sun,
your soapy body making you seem almost invisible.
Floating in the air,
Your creator close behind. A smile upon their face
Gazing upon your floating beauty,
Your floating beauty.
Seeming to be so carefree, nothing to do.
Your soul purpose to flow with the wind
Hoping to stay afloat.
Floating in the air,
Knowing that your life is short
Someone will come
Someone will destroy.
Someone will hurt.
Both you, and your creator.
The soapy water splashes the air
An inaudible noise of being popped
We all knew it wasnt meant to last.
Society doesnt allow it.
Floating in the air,
So care free, nothing to worry.
Wishing you could stay,
Wishing you wouldnt leave.
